Palm and Corn Oil
WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAKING OUR PRODUCTS AS SUSTAINABLE AS WE CAN.
As a result we are happy to confirm that the Palm Oil we use comes from a RSPO certified supplier and that all their Mills and Plantations have been certified and confirmed, by an independent international auditor, to meet the RSPO sustainable guidelines.
Further to this their supply chain methods have also been certified by the auditor to meet the Mass Balance (MB) supply chain Model for RSPO and therefore all of our Palm Oil deliveries are certified to be sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) and can be independently tracked back to sustainable plantations and mills.
Whilst this is a complex issue that involves many third parties, Mamee remains committed to trying to do the best we can to ensure all the Palm Oil we purchase is CSPO and has the necessary supply chain documentation to prove its authenticity.

On a number of our products we have moved over to using Corn Oil as it provides
a reduction in saturated fats and we will continue to look at all the ingredients we use
to continue to produce the best products we can.
HEALTH BENEFITS OF CORN OIL
Corn oil has no trans fats, no cholesterol, low insaturated fats, an excellent source of vitamin E, and is also a source of linolenic acid. Corn oil contains 0.77% phytosterols by weight, phytosterols play an important role in reducing blood cholesterol.
